Duration of the visit
If you have purchased a complete visit ticket to the Cathedral Museum (Pórtico de la Gloria + permanent Collection), you can visit the permanent Collection at any time of the day, regardless of the time you have reserved for the visit to the Pórtico de la Glory. The time of access to the Portico marked on the entrance ticket is approximate and could undergo certain variations depending on demand.
During the Covid-19 crisis, for public access to all the spaces that can be visited, the limits of capacity and social distance must be taken into account, as well as other recommendations of the health authorities, all of which may condition the routes and mark waiting times, at specific moments, in the access to certain spaces of the Museum.Up
Please note the Museum's opening and closing times. The selected visit time corresponds to the access to the Pórtico de la Gloria (capacity limited to 25 people at a time). The permanent Museum-Collection can be visited before or after the Portico throughout the daily opening hours (average duration: 60 minutes).
The interactive audioguided visit is included with the fee for the visit to the Portico. To do this, access the web http://catedraldesantiago.es/visitaportico/ and enter the sales locator that appears on your ticket
During the Covid-19 crisis, the maximum capacity in all Museum spaces will be 25 people at a time in each room (it may be limited in certain rooms)
If more than 25 tickets are purchased (up to a maximum of 50), the group will have to divide so as not to exceed the capacity limit
The maximum duration of each group's stay at the Pórtico de la Gloria will be 20 minutes.
For group consideration, a minimum of 20 tickets must be purchased for each available schedule.
